Big Sister: Chapter 2 Chatter from excited students littered the cafeteria as they discussed their day, anticipating the weekend that was going to follow shortly. Brigette stared into space zoning out. “Bridgette.” An unidentified voice called her. She sat there staring, thinking she had heard her name called but not registering it. “Brigette!” She thought she heard again, still zoning out. “BRIGETTE! Hello, earth to B. Anyone home!?” She tuned back in seeing Ginger sitting across from her at the table. “Did you get carried off by aliens? See what happens when you don’t wear your tin foil hat.” Chided Ginger dragging her sister back into reality. “Hey, are you going to finish that?” She asked, commenting on the half-eaten school lunch in front of her. “I got a call to from the feed the children foundation asking that Ginger give back all the food that she’s been eating. They need it over in in Africa.” Replied Brigette winsomely.
